I recently changed up my morning routine and have noticed a big difference in just two weeks. While the scale might not say much, my clothes are looser and my eating habits are under control.
For the last 2 years, I’ve been drinking a glass of warm water with about a teaspoon or two of organic apple cider vinegar mixed in it. It’s kind of curbed cravings but I didn’t notice a huge difference in weight loss or anything else. Until now.
I chatted to one of the fitness consultants at Dischem (our local drugstore) recently and he told me his secret to dropping 30kgs without any exercise. After every meal, down a shot glass of the following mix.
- Organic apple cider vinegar with the mother (My preferred brand of choice is Bragg’s)
- Unsweetened Lemon Juice (Fresh or bottled from the Tony Ferguson brand)
Mix half of each in the shot glass and down it in one go. It’s not pleasant but any means but after a few days you get used to it. I’m not looking to lose that much weight nor do I want to give myself any ulcers so I drink just one shot glass every morning upon waking. It kickstarts my metabolism, aids digestion and curbs my appetite throughout the day so I’m less likely to crave junk food and sugary snacks.
